Jan and Luddy
Jan and Luddy founded The Drifters Beach Club and produce the Blues In Negril festival since 2014 to today. Janet Samuels experience and success in numerous projects is vast including; a Lifetime Achievement Award and Fellowship of Youth Link Scotland, 2007 Made an Associate for Strathclyde University, Glasgow, for Work with Young People, 1976 - Set up the first Adult Literacy project in Scotland. She has designed over 20 curricular modules for Work with Young People now widely used to support the Curriculum for Excellence across Scotland by 20 Councils and the Voluntary Sector. The list of achievements goes on and on -- you will have to ask her more about it! Her support and work is immensely appreciated by everyone.
Jan has created countless educational projects. Commissioned 2011, Deputy Lord Lieutenant, Lanarkshire and representative for The Queen.
Luddy is a living legend of immense music talent and industry experience. 5 decades working and singing with James Brown, Otis Reading, B.B. King... the list is too long.
Together they founded and promote The Drifters Bar and Entertainment Venue the top music venue and destination in Negril, Jamaica working with incredible local and international musicians and singers.
